The 2008 sailing season has started by staging some racing clinics and el Toro races. Here are some useful notes on race starts, rules and techniques.

Saturday, June 28th RACE
Come to the lake and enjoy some casual racing with your fellow club members. Previous racing experience not required. The desire to have fun is! We will race outside of the logboom with the Capri size boats and possibly the larger boats wind and weather permitting. Come to the dock NLT 10:00 to form crews and rig boats. The plan is to finish the races by noon. There will be a brief review of the racing rules at 9:30 for those interested. See the flyer sent via email for RSVP instructions or leave a comment on the blog if you plan on attending.
